We bring to market compostable and biodegradable* products for waste management, food services, retail, grocery, households, industrial applications, agriculture, and anyone or industry who like us, wants to do better for the environment. 

At Biobag, we believe that people have good intentions when it comes to doing right by the environment. Because it’s human nature to hold on to our existing habits, even if they are damaging to our planet, it becomes absolutely vital that we, as a company, focus all our efforts to inventing and producing products that will blend into existing lifestyles and behaviors, making habit changes easier for all individuals.

With Novamont, Biobag is empowered to innovate and excel in developing products that are not only less harmful for the environment, but beneficial to our shared Bioeconomy.

Our production

The majority of Biobag Americas, Inc products are Made in the USA, close to our customers and end users. Why ship compostable bags thousands of miles across the globe, racking up significant emissions, when we can make them close to our customers? Our U.S. based production takes place in San Leandro, California. We do source some of our products abroad, but we continually look for domestic alternatives.
