Our production
Biobags are made in Europe, close to our customers. Why ship compostable bags thousands of kilometres across the globe, ranking up significant emissions, when we can make them close to our customers? The production takes place on the beautiful island Hiiumaa in the Baltic Sea.
Our factory utilizes 100% renewable energy and features solar panels on the main factory's roof. The operations are guided by a philosophy of continuous improvement and waste reduction. We sort and recycle production waste, invest annually in our machinery and processes to minimize waste.
We hold ISO 22000, 9001, and 14001 certifications, showcasing our commitment to exceptional quality, food safety standards, and environmental responsibility.
